Stephanie’s education background includes a B.A. in Spanish literature and Latin American Studies from Tulane University, her M.A. in Spanish and Latin American Literature from the University of California-Los Angeles, as well as Advanced Degree Certificates from Bank Street College of Education and CUNY-Lehman College.

After spending eight years working in the New York City Department of Education - first as a teacher and later as an education consultant - Stephanie left the Big Apple to see what schools, teachers and kids were like in other parts of the country. She also became a meditator, a writer and a Reiki Master in the Usui Shiki Ryoho Tradition. Currently residing in the Greater New York City area, Stephanie continues to cultivate learning experiences for teachers and students in the public and private sectors.
